Photographer and filmmaker Alex F Webb builds harmonious relationships across film and still image. He instinctively plays with both slick and raw techniques, disrupting narrative and energy through his interaction with his subjects and the environment.
Having a particular fascination towards our place on the planet, and often working in challenging terrains, his personal work takes a conceptual twist. Looking towards the unnerving aspects of the British landscape and its tenants. His project BLEU (Blind Landing Experimental Unit) and his multi- award winning short film KEITH, both blend the vernaculars of fact and fiction, using the idea of evidence to challenge our trust and belief in societal structures.
In addition to his photography and filmmaking practice, Alex is a part of Steep Learning Group, a creative collective and studio reimagining the presentation of the climbing and outdoors sector, working with clients such as Gramicci, Klattermusen, Vivo Barefoot and Chacos.
Alex is based between London and Paris.
