Heather Sten is a photographer based in New York.

An unassuming and empathetic approach to image-making has enabled Heather to capture intimate portraits of her subjects in their most natural state. Whether photographing a friend, a family member, a stranger in the street or international celebrity, her ethos remains the same: “getting to learn about people and their experiences, and translating that kindred energy into portraiture is really exciting and humbling for me.
